Friends of McIntosh is an organizationinMcIntosh, Florida that annually holds an amazing festivalcalledthe McIntosh 1890's Festival. This app is a great way toconnectwith the festival. Others have includedafront-porch addition to the Community Center; the installationofplayground equipment for the children; the Victorian-stylelampposts in the main park in the center of town, Van Ness Park;theclock in the Mini-Park; and the purchase of the old CarriageHouseadjacent to the depot. The Friends of McIntosh also supportvariousorganizations through donations, to organizations such astheAmerican Heart Association, the local Emergency AssistanceFund,the Salvation Army and the Cub, Boy and Girl Scouts.
